Hello! My name is Miss Harris and I am ecstatic to have you in my class this year. As I will be getting to know you and your  parents throughout the school year, I thought it was only fair that I tell you a  little about myself. First off, I am an Eagle by birth and continue to be one by choice  (Go Big Green)! I have been with the school district for about 11 years, and this will  be my 8th year as a teacher. I have taught Middle School P.E., Math Intervention, Reading/Dyslexia Intervention, 3rd 4th, and 5th Grade Reading/Writing, and 3rd Grade Social Studies. I like to consider  myself a lifelong student, as I hold many different certifications and degrees. My most recent accomplishment is a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Reading and Special Education from TAMUCC. I am also currently pursuing a certification to become Certified School Librarian and hope to pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership in the future. I look forward to our time together, and hope that my knowledge, determination, and passion for learning will help you on your path to SUCCESS!
